Event Description
Bromont in the heart of the Eastern Townships tourist region is located 96 km from Montreal and 249 km from Quebec city. Known for its gastronomy, Bromont is also start of the "Route des Vins", or wine route.The start and finish line for the Demi-Marathon des Microbrasseries is situated at the base of Bromont ski resort; an ideal location with plenty of parking and place for spectators.The events boasts one of the most beautiful and picturesque half-marathon courses in all of Quebec. In addition to half there is also a 5k, 10k and 1 km kids race, as well as, a unique 5k torch run that is held on the eve of the half-marathon, that concludes with fire-works and music.The festival zone of the event gathers a variety of exhibitors, including several microbreweries from the various regions of Quebec. There will also be kiosks from Quebec cider producers, restaurateurs and gourmet food products from the "terroir". There will be workshops for beer and food pairings, a kids play area and an outdoor stage with a variety of musical acts including a delicious post-race meal prepared with local products.
