The most commonly referenced age grade table is published by www.runscore.com. It uses data from www.world-masters-athletics.org. and is compiled using only the results of the fastest runners. This data is used to power calculators featured on prominent running websites.

If you are an elite runner, then the runscore.com tables apply to you, and please use them. But if you cannot run a 5k in under 15 minutes, then the chances are that these data do not really apply to you.

At Meteor.run we have created a similar tool with our age and gender grade calculator. Our tool uses expanded data that spans across all fitness levels. The data are taken from a wide array of actual running events from across the US and Canada. The result is a tool that is accurate across all ages, genders and fitness levels.

The tables below represents just a sample of the results included in the tool. They are presented here to allow you to compare our data with other similar tools. We encourage you to use the calculator to find results that are specific to your needs.
