For a 5k run completed with a 7:00 /km pace in a time of 35 minutes and 00 seconds by a female runner in the 35-39 age category, the equivalent pace and time for a female runner in the 45-49 age category will be 7:13 /km pace, for a time of 36 minutes and 09 seconds.
If the runner with the requested profile (female 45-49) has run at a quicker pace than 7:13 /km , then she would be faster on a gender and age-group adjusted basis.
This means that on average she should place higher in her age group rankings.
